Operations and Maintenance Facility

This project consisted of the construction of a new 104,000 SF Operations and Maintenance Facility located at the ALCOSAN Treatment Plant property.

The construction of the O&M Building included a 62,000 SF, four-story office tower with an atrium and an auditorium. Also included was an attached 42,000 SF single story high bay maintenance facility, which included welding, machine, carpentry, electrical and instrumentation shops along with a vehicle repair garage and storage facilities.

The design of this facility incorporated design elements to obtain a LEED Silver Certification. Included in this project were two separate construction projects, which preceded the construction of the new O&M Building. These projects included the relocation of existing underground electrical, gas, water and effluent utilities traversing the footprint of the O&M Building site along with the construction of a new Security Building located at the ALCOSAN plant entrance.
