This project consisted of constructing a pre-engineered nested T-Hangar building 338′ long x 60′-6″ wide and associated site work.
The work included earthwork, stormwater facilities, new site utilities, asphalt paving and line striping, building erection and finishing, demolition of existing hangars and asphalt taxiways and site restoration.
Site utilities included extending the existing domestic water line, installation of a new sanitary sewer including a force main and new manhole, installation of a new power pole and underground service. A bio-retention pond was constructed to receive run-off from new inlets and drainage at the building pad.
The T-Hangar building includes 10 leasable hangars with two large end pods. Electric overhead bi-fold doors serve each hangar and one end pod. One end pod is reserved for the County’s use and has two large coiling overhead doors. A small unisex restroom was constructed and is accessible to County employees or tenants.
Management Engineering Corporation performed design services/ coordination and full scope of construction management services for the owner.
