This project included renovations to the former US Airways Consolidated Operations Control Center (OCC) to suit Allegheny County Emergency Services’ needs as a long-term tenant. The existing control center was renovated to serve as a 9-1-1 Call Center. Existing open office spaces werer subdivided into office suites.
Electrical work includes power, lighting, fire alarm, Access Controls and structured cabling. The Call Center has extensive power and data modifications to serve the dispatch console furniture.
Mechanical work includes new Computer Room Air Conditioning units for a new server room and a fan coil unit for a new training room.
The Plumbing scope of work includes two new single user shower rooms, modifications to the existing fire protection system and a new clean agent system for the new server room.
Management Engineering Corporation is providing a full scope of construction management services for the owner.
